Prof. U.M. Amin has been a result oriented professional having over 43 years of experience that includes over 12 years in academics as Professor of Management studies. His experience in industry has been in the areas of Strategy formulation & implementation, Project sales & marketing, business development, key account management and projects. He has been involved in marketing of capital goods.

A keen planner, strategist & implementer with demonstrated abilities in devising marketing activities and accelerating business growth. Functional Skills include:

Prof. Amin obtained B.E. (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering from BITS, Pilani and M. Tech. specializing in Process Plant and Equipment Design from IIT, Delhi. Subsequently, he successfully pursued M.B.A. (Marketing) and PhD (Strategic Management) from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi.

About the Faculty

Dr. Nitin Kr Saxena is an Associate Professor in the Marketing area. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing, MBA in Marketing and Information Technology, and has secured All India Second Rank “Gold Medal” in Marketing Certification course from IIT Kanpur. He has also done certification courses on ‘Data Science Using R and Python’ and ‘Multivariate Data Analysis’ from IIT Roorkee. He has attended a Case Teaching workshop conducted by Harvard Business Publishing and IIM Ahmedabad. He was recently awarded ‘Best Professor in Marketing Analytics’.

Dr. Nitin Saxena has over 14 years of experience in marketing, retail operations, and marketing research in companies like HCL, Idea Cellular, Vodafone, and Spice Retail. He has published two edited books, 25 research papers in National and International Journals of repute. He is the author of, a learning resource platform for students. He is Chairperson for Website and Social Media Function, and Centre for Change and Development.

Dr. Damayanti Datta is a PGPX from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Ph.D. in computer science, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, M.S. in Computer science, Georgia Southwestern State University, Americus, Georgia, B.E. in Chemical Engineering, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, lndia.

Her Academic experience includes teaching information Technology and Management courses, administrative duties in capacities Dean / Area Chair / Faculty in areas of department of university administration, student faculty recruitment and retention, curriculum designing, accreditation and research.

A highly motivated individual with excellent management, teaching and research skills.

Designation: Assistant Professor – Finance & Accounting

About the Faculty

Dr. Parul Tyagi is a faculty in Finance and Accounting area. She is a graduate in Computer Application. She has done MBA (Finance & Marketing) and Ph.D. from Banasthali University, Rajasthan. Her doctoral research was on “Comparing the Volatility of Returns in Indian and Chinese Stock Markets during 2004-2016”.

Dr. Parul Tyagi has an academic experience of 6 years teaching various subjects namely Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Security and Portfolio Management and International Finance.  She has published more than 10 research papers in prestigious journals and presented research papers in various national and international conferences. Her research interest areas are Capital Markets, Financial Inclusion and Working Capital Management.

Dr. Tyagi is UGC-NET 2013 qualified ICICI bank certified for various banking modules
