Two Jaipuria Students Bag Top Positions Globally In World Future Skills Challenge -2023 In Round 2
Smartkid is an International competitions platform to help kids get global exposure and competitive experience. “World Future Skills Challenge 2023” was one of the trending challenges on the Smart Kid’s platform that assessed students’ creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and technological skills.
In the first round of this International Competition 6 of our students qualified. The selected 6 students participated in Round 2 which was a subjective exam.
We are happy to share that out of those 6 students, one of our students, Khadeeja Aslam of Grade 7 secured the 2nd position worldwide and another student Ramesht Mishra, Grade 5 secured 3rd position worldwide in their respective age groups.
It’s always better to hear from the one who experienced it!
Let’s read what Khadeeja as has to share:
I got an opportunity to participate in the World Future Skills Challenge 2023 competition organized by Smartkids. It was an online competition. The challenge was held in 2 rounds.
Round 2 was a subjective based assessment. This round was based on Case Study where we were supposed to write answers keeping in mind the 21st Century skills. Critical thinking was required and suggestions and views were to be given about the given case.
My case study was related to Artificial Intelligence.I did my best and secured 2nd rank in this competition.
I am highly thankful to my Principal Mrs. Poonam Kochitty and my Computer teacher Ms. Ankita Yadav for trusting and having confidence in me.
Here is what Ramesht has to share!
Clearing the first round helped me gain my confidence but the second round was not a piece of cake.
In the second round we were asked Case study type questions on topics like “How can we decrease the time of ambulances reaching people who need help?”
The questions challenged our Critical thinking ability and it took me hard time to come up with a unique answer . I am happy that I secured 3rd rank globally. I would like to thank my teachers as well as my parents for preparing me and always motivating me to do new things.
