The Lockdown & Kids
The complete lockdown was announced for a month and a half to reduce the cases of coronavirus but for schools it turned out be longer. From the beginning of this session we haven’t gone to school for a single day and are attending online classes. Our parents are also working from home, and it sometimes really feels sick to be at home all the time. But what I loved the most in this lockdown were the online classes of my school because on this platform we can do more activities than we could actually do in the physical school. We can make our projects in Minecraft, Nearpod, Quizizz, etc. which are interesting platforms rather than doing the traditional handwritten ones. We can also make videos and write blogs too. But in a physical school, we did not do our projects in this way. This doesn’t mean that I do not miss my school. Sitting in a room full of students and studying is more fun than just studying alone. I miss the time when we simply rushed towards our school buses just to get the front seat and then running towards our classroom to grab a seat next to our friends. I hope that the vaccine for covid-19 comes soon and normalcy resumes.
