With the Covid-19 pandemic changing our ways of celebration , Seth Anandram Jaipuria School also went virtual to mark the special occasion of Teachers’ day celebrated on 5th of September. The entire fraternity was called with a cold beverage and in a Bohemian dress code (shades of green, brown or gold ) on Zoom. The celebration started with a video shared by a student (Anurag) of Class 11th flashing all the precious moments and pictures of the staff members which made everyone nostalgic. It was followed with a prayer song (Thank You God and Shukriya ) sung by Mr. Anubhav to pray gratitude to the Almighty for all his blessings.
A series of games, planned wonderfully by Ms.Prachi and Ms.Anuragini, helped all the staff members to unwind and relax. It included games like Skeleton out of the cupboards, letting dark and weird secrets out), to ‘Never Have I Ever’ where the teachers were supposed to sip their drinks if they did whatever was stated by the anchors, or ignore if not. It was followed by a game titled ‘What’s in your phone?’ when the teachers were asked questions related to their phone gallery and contacts. Riddle based games like ‘Code Names’ and ‘Who am I’ were played where the teachers played with full zeal and enthusiasm and excelled in solving all of the riddles.
Ms.Shikha recited a self-composed poem, extolling the virtues of every staff member. It was truly phenomenal. Some more videos created by the students to thank their teachers were shared on the screen which made everyone emotional. The program concluded with a few inspirational words by the Principal
The meeting ended with big smiles on the faces of every teacher and gifting a digital gift voucher in their mail inbox which made their day.
