Star Students Awards & Investiture Ceremony at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, lucknow

Seth AnandramJaipuria School, Lucknow firmly believes in the above thought. It propagates the idea of consistency entwined with diligence. The students are encouraged to practice discipline in their lives, because that is what leads to the desired trajectory, when the right time arrives.
30 April’22 was a day of celebration and jubilation. The hard work of children and their parents was appreciated and rewarded in the ‘Star Student Awards’.During the last two years when the world was pulled back by numerous steps due to the hazardous Covid-19, these students continued to sharpen their skills. Not even the pandemic could come in their way.
Meritorious Students were given awards in various categories to cherish their effort, celebrate their accomplishments and acknowledge the uniqueness of their talents.
The event began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the mesmerizing Prayer Dance. The audience was overwhelmed at the sight of the kids’ performance. Shaurya Veer of Class X, touched the hearts of everyone with his moving poem, ‘Jo Beet Gayi So Baat Gayi’. Ms. Smriti Baluja shared thoughts on the importance of nurturing healthy parent-child relationship. The intent was to appreciate the parents for their unmatched and continuous efforts towards conscientiously moulding their childrens’ lives.
A glittering Award Ceremony then commenced.. The award categories were, MUN Achievers, Dance Maestro, Budding Actor, Spectacular Sports Person, Budding Poet, Calculation Wizard, Budding Artist, Gamification Experts, Academic Excellence, All Round Proficiency, Excellence In Design, Excellence In Photography to name a few.. The school encourages excellence in all areas not just academics.
The school believes in empowering its students with good character and leadership qualities. The Principal, Ms. Poonam Kochitty has always taught everyone that leadership is not a position of power but an opportunity of service. She spoke with conviction on numerous deep subjects. She drew our attention towards gratitude for the reason that we all are still alive. She expressed her grief for those children of Jaipuria, who lost their loved ones during the trying times of Covid. She also elucidated the purpose of the Award Ceremony. Another insightful thought of hers that left the audience pleasantly surprised, was that the school encourages children not to compete but rather, allow everyone to come forward and utilize every opportunity to hone their skills.
The Investiture Ceremony of the batch 2022-23 was held with a sense of pride, joy and immense responsibility. The student ambassadors were introduced in the ceremony. The Principal proudly handed over the badges to the student leaders.
Head Boy – Devang Tiwari , Head Girl – Divyanshi Srivastava were the proud leaders in the Senior School. House Captains, Vice Captains, Prefects, Sports Captain, Media Head, Student Editors, Cultural Head of both the Senior and Primary School were given away the badges. The student council then took an oath.
The parents felt extremely proud to see their children being appreciated for their unique leadership qualities
The Headmistress, Ms. Monica Taneja gave the audience food for thought through a very impactful video on parenting.
The Star Student Awards came to a befitting end with a Grand Finale. It was a day that will remain in the memories of the students and their parents for long.
