Ganesh Chaturthi – Parents Teachers & Children Celebrate
Lord Ganesha epitomises wisdom, knowledge and learning. This Ganesh Chaturthi, we hope and pray that he showers everyone with his countless blessings.
On 15th of September Ganpati came alive virtually in the Pre Primary wing of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Lucknow.
The day started with Ganesh Vandana. The children trained by the dance teacher Mr Amit danced to the song “sukhkarta dukhharta”. Then the students were taught how to make Lord Ganesha with the help of dough. This activity was conducted by one of the parents Ms Pooja Soni. She made a wonderful image of Lord Ganesha with dough and explained the whole process to the children. The Ganesha idol was then decorated with bindi, water colour, pearls and rakhi. Next a story on courage was narrated by Saanvi’s Grandmother, Ms Nishi Singh. A festival is incomplete without sweets and delicacies so finally the kids were taught how to make Modak by our guest speaker Ms Supriya Pandey and Anita Jaiswal. They taught the parents and children how to make modaks using Oreo biscuit, fresh cream and coconut powder.
The celebration ended with a dance on a Ganpati song. It was a memorable day which everyone enjoyed.
