Learning is Fun
This is Aahana Gupta from class 1-A, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow. I would like to share my experience and views about today’s English class ,where I learnt and had fun both at the same time. In today’s class I did a very exciting activity named ‘POPCAR technique’ for the chapter “The Lucky Leaf”. POPCAR is a technique used for making mind map for a particular chapter. It summarizes the chapter by questioning about major events, characters, places, action and reaction kind of questions that cover the whole chapter.
My teacher (Arsheen Fatima) also presented a new online tool named “Nearpod” to answer these questions. The best thing about this tool is that it is very easy and simple to use. Even five years old like me could use this tool without any help. Furthermore, it makes lesson very interactive and fun. As I submit my answers, teacher can give the feedback at the same time. It also has a fun feature called ´Draw it`. Using this feature, I could draw, colour and have fun. In one liner, today’s class was interesting and used a new innovative way to learn while having fun in virtual class.
