In the second session, of The International British School Project, Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow collaborated with Birla High School, Doha, Qatar under the project Kite Festival wherein the students from Jaipuria School shared the recipes of various delicacies associated with the harvest festivals. It was indeed a wholesome experience when the parents also joined hands to share their culinary skills with the students from Doha. Master Tenzin Joshi of class 4 along with his mother demonstrated the recipe of KHICHRI,a sumptuous meal enjoyed during Makar Sankranti. Aadya Kheterpal (class V ) and Trisha Jain(class IV) also took turns to share the mouthwatering recipes of TIL ke LADOOS both black and white sesame seeds.
The efforts of all the children were appreciated by one and all. They were called ‘Little Professional Cooks’ by the Principal, Ms. Poonam Kochitty.
With a promise of keeping in touch and trying out the new recipes, the friends from Doha bid a fond goodbye.
