“With ordinary talent and extraordinary perseverance, all things are attainable.” – Thomas Foxwell Burton

Young children have an ocean of hidden talent amongst them and on 12th June it was displayed at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Lucknow at the Jaipuria’s Got Talent show. The two anchors – Nirvi Khanna and Aradhya Dwivedi of Grade 5 started the program on a high note with their cheerful welcome. The program kickstarted by invoking the blessings of the almighty through a prayer song –‘ O Palan hare’ prepared by the little ones of the school choir. The Chief Guest of the event was the Principal Ms. Poonam Kochitty and the special guests were Ms. Monika Taneja (Headmistress) and Mr. Pankaj Rathore(Headmaster) who graced this virtual event.

Every year, Jaipuria’s Got Talent provides a platform for all the new admissions to showcase their talents before the students.. This year due to the pandemic, the event was hosted online over zoom, where all the participants, parents, and teachers witnessed the captivating performances.

Overall there were 22 participants who performed in this event. Some who stood out were Caleb Joy of grade 3 who sang and played the piano on the song – “The Saints go marching”. Kaira Kumar of grade 2 made everyone dance to her performance, Praneel Prashant of Grade 1 who illustrated the story of two yaks with the help of hand-puppets, Navika Srivastava who recited a poem on “Bharat ke Veer Jawan” and Siddhima Gupta of grade 2 showcased her artwork in which she illustrated the harm done by humans to the planet earth.

The students, dressed in colorful outfits, were full of confidence and enthusiasm as they regaled the audience with one superb performance after another.

In the end, our Principal congratulated all the participants and anchors for beautifully hosting the event and encouraged everyone to hone their talents further.
