Indo Ireland Poetry Fest
A Literary Treat for SAJS Lucknow: Kovid Sharma, Ansh Yadav, Navya Dwivedi are declared winners for the India-Ireland Poetry Fest.
Takhte Writers & Publishers organized the ‘India-Ireland Poetry Fest’ on the theme ‘Care, Courage and Commitment’.The festival aimed at bringing together the poets and poetry of both countries on a single platform to express in unique compositions. The fest was open to children and youth (aged 11-24) from India and Ireland.
It is a proud moment for Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, as the poems of three of its students, Kovid Sharma (class VIII), Ansh Yadav (class XI), and Navya Dwivedi, got selected for the India-Ireland Poetry Fest. Ansh Yadav expressed his views on the selflessness ingrained in ‘care’. On the other hand, Kovid Sharma penned his thoughts on the intrinsic relationship shared among the three Cs: Care, Courage and Commitment. The winners will soon be felicitated in the esteemed presence of Shri Akhilesh Mishra(Indian Ambassador to Ireland), and their poems will be published in an anthology.
It was a highly competitive event judged by a jury of eminent literary critics like Prof. (Dr) Prasannanshu, Professor of English, National Law University New Delhi; Founding President, Delhi Poetry Circle & Founder, P3 Poetry Group. Moreover, the other winners are from some top schools and colleges in India and Ireland, like Galway Dublin, IIM Rohtak, Xavier’s Mumbai, SRCC, Delhi, IIT Delhi, University of Calcutta, DPS Ghaziabad and Gurgaon.
