I have received certificate of achievement in recognition of my commitment to fueling curiosity and reading confidence in my students for the 2021-22 academic year.
During virtual classes I was hunting for various online sources for inclusion of a wider range of stories that should play a pivotal role at the foundation stage of education. The epic! classroom should not be seen as a place merely to read poems and stories in, but to develop the learner’s imagination as a major aim of language study, and to equip the learner with communicative and listening skills.
I created student log on epic! a leading digital library where one story is assigned to the whole class on a daily basis. Children of class Pre-Nursery listen to the story and learn new vocabulary. Every story is followed by quizzes to foster their understanding and analytical skills. They can login to the student account as per their convenient time and enjoy the assigned story.
