Coming close to nature – A glimpse of 2019admin
Plants are vital to human existence and sustainability is the need of the hour. Teaching kids about trees and their significance is a step focused towards a sustainable planet. At Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow the students share a close connect with nature. This video gives a glimpse of some heartwarming pictures of the activities that happened in the last academic session to make the students understand why trees play a significant role in their lives and that every day should be celebrated as Earth Day.
The little ones dressed as trees and flowers are throwing light on the majesty of trees during their assembly time. As the school has collaborated with Prithvi Innovations, we see some pictures of the Gomti river cleaning drive and the rock painting done by the senior students.
The school believes in living by example and therefore for the inter-school event Razzmatazz we have the Principal of the school felicitating the guests and judges with planters.
The students have also been taken to the Botanical Garden in Lucknow, where they are exploring a variety of flora and learning more about medicinal plants.
Not to forget the whole school plantation drive, where students were sent in groups to GRRC Regimental Centre in the Lucknow Cantonment area and to Jhulelal Park on the bank of River Gomti where more than 500 saplings were planted.
When the world is gripped by the Covid-19 pandemic there is an incredible need for the global community to come together and bring awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals and their effective implementation.
Enjoy the video that showcases the activities conducted in the school, all woven around a beautiful song by our Dance Mentor Mr. Amit Gupta.
