Class Presentation – V Aadmin
“Every student has a brilliance that just needs a little polishing to come to the surface.” Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow organized its third Class Presentation by V-A. The event started with a welcome note by Abhishree and Pratyush followed by the Lighting of the lamp. Seeking the Lord’s choicest blessings, the lamp was kindled by the Guest of Honour Ms. Sushma Raturi. The choir then sang a beautiful hymn,“Ten Thousand Reasons”. Next followed a folk-dance performed by the students on “BeduPako”. After the enthralling performance, Shiny Shukla gave a powerful speech on “No to Plastic” mentioning the tie-up between Seth Anandram Jaipuria School and Prithvi Innovations. To thank the parents for their love and care, the students recited a poem entitled “Thank you” featuring the happy moments with their parents in the background. This was appreciated a lot by the parents.
One of the USPs of this school is the Assemblies which are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the primary section. The importance of these assemblies and the values learnt from these were told by Ira Dwivedi. At Seth Anandram Jaipuria School,Lucknow, we not only focus on academic excellence, but also,take care of the fitness of the children. This was depicted through the next performance which was “Surya Namaskar”. One of the hosts, Abhishree Rai told about her favourite hobby club- English Literary and how it has helped her in writing two books of her own. Being the first ever Microsoft school in Lucknow, it was impossible to not have anything related to technology. Two of the students, Naitik and Drishaangave a live demonstration of Minecraft which drew a loud applause from the parents. The world would become a better place only if we cherish each other’s differences. This message was beautifully conveyed through a humorous skit “Achieving World Peace”. Before the concluding programme, a video about the school was shown to the parents showcasing the academic and co-curricular activities along with the achievements. The concluding programme was a Grand Finale on “Namaste India” which had all the parents on their feet trying to capture the moment on their cameras.
In the end, Principal ma’am addressed the parents talking about their roles as the first teachers of the child. She asked them to motivate the children to read books as it has multiple benefits. There were several other suggestions like the need to be a role model, since children learn more from what they see rather than what they’re told. The importance of travelling and exposing children to new experiences was emphasized. Teaching them to value money is also one of the important roles of the parents which was discussed. Ma’am requested parents to collaborate with the school in shaping the children. She also introduced the counsellor of the school to them.
When the event got over the parents were given a sapling as a token of love from the children. The parents were asked to give the feedback which was heartwarming.
