Visit to Parisadmin
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School deeply believes in the principle of internationalism and works towards establishing a global environment. This September, the school organised a student exhange to Paris, to Lyce Suger high school in which a group of 35 students participated accompanied by two teachers –Mr. Manish Seksaria and Mrs. Divya Roy. After a warm welcome by the French students, the Jaipurians attended the conference by Suger high school’s film maker-Pascal Stroller, an account on his visit to India.
Our students gave presentations on Jaipurian ideals, vision statement and goals of the school. For a better bonding with the French pals, the students played interactive games and visited- ‘JUSTICE DE PAIX’, a renowned museum of Saint Denis. The peaceful environment of the Sacre Coeur Church in Paris Montmarte and a guided tour to Stat De France (the national stadium of France) was an enjoyable experience.
The students got a chance to organise a garden party for their French mates.
The cooking team, the rapping team and the organising team truly made the party a success. The group visited the museum of modern art and got a glimpse of Notre Dame and the University of Paris. Getting clicked on the Eiffel Tower was a lifetime experience. The students also witnessed the rich cultural heritage and the beautiful infrastructure of Paris on a river cruise.
Our school also showcased a bollywood night, in which we put up Indian dance performances, quizzes, songs and raps in front of the French crowd. We shopped on the exclusive streets of Champs Elysee and visited the largest art museum of the world- The Louvre. Getting an opportunity to see the masterpiece of Leonardo Da Vinci- ‘The Mona Lisa’ was memorable. The last day was all about the world of Disney as everyone enjoyed the rides and the beauty of Disneyland and the Walt Disney Studios. Thus the trip was a perfect blend of leisure and learning where everyone made moments that they’d always like to treasure and cherish.
