Mrs. Shikha Banerjee,is a seasoned educator with more than three decades of experience in the field of education. Her repertoire includes various curriculaICSE, ISC,and even CBSE. She has spearheaded many CSR activities along with NGOs like GOONJ, CRY, WORLD VISION INDIA.Her conviction and passion is to promote the academic, emotional, and social well being of all pupils under her care and she believes in working in synergy with the parent community as well as her colleagues. With a Master’s degree in English and Sanskrit, she is a multi-faceted personality who with her vision has been instrumental in maintaining the school at the apex in the list of Best Schools of India.She has beenaproud recipient of the Acharya DevoBhava Award-2018, Inspiring EducatorsAward-2017, as well as Avantika Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Motivators Award-2016.She has also been conferred with Accomplished Educator’s Award and Dr. Radhakrishnan National Teachers’ Award. LIONS’ CLUB bestowed upon her the Best Educators’ Award in 2009. She has authored English and Social Studies books. Her forte’ is English Language teaching, teaching of Psychology and Career as well as Psychological Counseling as she is a trained counselor. Certified Internal Auditor, trained by BVQI for ISO Certificationis yet another role that she showcases as a part of her dynamic personality.
As an exemplary leader, she helps prioritize activities and channelizes people’s thought processes in the right direction. She has the art to encourage a person or a group of people to work with zeal and dedication to achieve a common goal. She has the ability to bring the group together as a whole and lead by example. Her spirit of fortitude was best witnessed during the times of Pandemic when the pedagogy underwent a sea change. She undauntedly donned the mantle of an unsung warrior and grappled through the difficult times. Her unassuming and grounded temperament and disposition makes her a leader whom people can easily reach out to. In a nut shell, Competency, Communication and Commitmentare the 3 Cs which define her personal.
Education is a shared commitment among motivated students,dedicated teachers and parents with high expectations. Our actions are born from our thoughts, our thoughts are the product of our values, and values come from our belief system.
I am very humbled and honored to introduce myself as the Vice Principal of SAJS Kanpur. I can assure you that I will share my dedicated experience and caring for my students and the school community at SAJS on an ongoing basis while providing them with a meaningful learning environment. Although I am an educator, I am also a father of a daughter who has started her career in the west. I started my journey as an educator three decades ago with my last school being The Doon School where I served for a little less than 2 decades.
I mentored, coached and tutored students in Economics and Business Management. I firmly believe that every child can excel. The cooperation between home and school builds trust and self-esteem in the students. This will help our students attain their highest potential to shape their future, community and our nation. “A Child is like a bud” As the bud requires a lot of care and nourishment to blossom into a beautiful & healthy flower, so the child not only needs a good education but a fulfilment of many elements that will help the child’s holistic development.
Let all stakeholders make collective and collaborative efforts to connect with our children in the journey of formal and informal education to create a healthy and successful future for themselves.
Success does not mean absence of problems; it means the ability to identify the cause, reasons and how to tide over their problems.
Hence it is our responsibility to give the children the most, for a better and healthier tomorrow that can only be achieved by connecting with our children.
Mr. Shadeep Adhikari
Vice Principal (Senior School)
Madhushree Bhaumik is the Vice Principal – Junior School and has joined the institution in 2015. She is M.A. in Fine Arts and B.Ed. She is an Instructional leader, always looking forward to improve the school. She is adept at building relationships with teachers, supporting staff, parents, students and community members. She is organized and well prepared and has the awareness, ability and positive attitude towards lifelong learning. She engages herself actively in professional development so as to continuously improve the standard of primary education through self-reflection. She takes interest in dramatics, painting, dance and is also fond of reading Rabindra Sahitya. She is also associated with many NGOs. She is working for SPECIAL children and Environment friendly activities.
Mahesh Kumar Mishra is the HeadMaster – Senior School. He has been rendering his valuable services since 1993. He has a Master’s degree in Physics; holds Post graduate diploma in Computer Applications and is also a B.Ed. His vision for improvement guides towards a smoother operation of the institution. He actively seeks input from others to meet the requirements. He loves to do gardening in his leisure time, and is also fond of teaching, sports and adventure.
Shailendra Kumar Agnihotri is the Head of Administration and Accounts. He has been working in the organization since 1997. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. His interests are reading a range of books and listening to music.
