GRAND PARENTS’ DAY
GRAND PARENTS’ DAY
“Grand Parents are delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories and love.” Yes indeed Grand Parents are a family’s greatest treasure, the greatest story tellers and the founders of a loving legacy. To honour them Seth AnandramJaipuriaschool celebrated the most awaited event of the Pre-Primary wing ‘The Grand Parent’s Day’ on 13th October’18 named HAKUNA MATATA-means no worries for the rest of your life. The function started with welcoming the guest of the evening ‘Mrs. Pramila Pandey’ Mayor, Kanpur Nagar which was followed by a warm welcome given to the doting grandparents.
“If music be the food of love then play on” said Shakespeare.A song was sung by our little cherubs welcoming everyone with their astounding performance.Later in order to express our gratitude towards the grandparents we felicitated them with a number of titles and accolades which made them feel special and happy.
To balance the tone set by our little toddlers ‘Arabian Nights’ the Land of thrill and excitement was enacted by our kids which set the stage on fire. ‘You don’t stop dancing because you grow old,you grow old because you stop dancing’ this idea was well proved by the eye catching performance given by our grandparents, which left everyone mesmerized. Next we had in tune the Hindi Choir as they expressed their love towards their grand angels.
Russian Saga was the next dance of the evening. Russia the Land of Tsar and his magnificent kingdom. It was spell-binding performance as the children took the audience to the Land of Tsar. Moving ahead the window appeared to the Land which is colourful, natural and serene i.e. Africa. The little twinkling stars very well performed the enactment and left everyone thrilled.
The cynosure for the evening was the melodious symphony performed by the grandparents. Last but not the least, dancing to the beats of Indian Retro music were our vivacious little ones who didn’t fail to impress the audience with their electrifying performance. The crowd applauded and tapped their feet with the little toddlers which made the evening all the more a memorable one.
