A Mobile Planetarium
There is no end to the adventures that we have if only we seek them with an open eye.
Students from the Pre Primary to Class V were introduced to the amazing wonders of our Universe through a mobile Planetarium on 24th and 25th September, 2018.
The students watched a movie named “PUPPY ON THE MOON”. It was indeed a journey through the space. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the students watched their galactic dreams come to life before their gleaming eyes, within the dome as a first introduction to the vast space that captivates us all. They learnt about different constellations and their shapes, the Galaxy and the Milky Way, the Nature’s gift to mankind- the beautiful silvery moon and the position of the planets in the Solar System.
It was evident that they thoroughly enjoyed the outer space adventure when they left the dome, giggling and thrilled.
It was an enriching experience and an invaluable source of learning outside the classroom.
