Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad organized an impact lecture on Human Resource Analytics: Trending evidence-based HR Practices. The session was taken by Prof. Indranil Bose, Dean, School of the Business University of Bolton, Academic Centre (Ras Al Khaimah). Mr. Bose started the discussion with the paramount importance and background of HR analytics in a contemporary environment. Prof. Indranil discussed the areas where HR analytics is required such as change management and evaluation of the effectiveness of training programmes in the organizations. Beside that, the session was largely based on the process of HR analytics: Data capture, Data analysis and Data reporting. Prof. Bose elaborated on the ways how the companies are collecting the data and how they are using the data in decision making. This whole process was backed by fact sheets in detail during the session. While concluding the session, Mr. Indranil discussed the historical underpinnings of HR/People analytics and suggested a few books to explore more about this phenomenon.
