Virtual Exchange Programme With Italy Day – 3

Virtual Exchange Programme With Italy Day – 3

With deep admiration and lively interaction Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Vasundhara, Ghaziabad culminated in its three-day Virtual Exchange Programme on 5th June 2020, which had been collaborated with San Filippo International Primary School, Umbria, Italy. We learned new ideas from each other, which we could adopt to further improve our collaborative learning. There had been many interesting and useful presentations during this 3-day Virtual Exchange Programme, both in the plenary session and in the interactive sessions. Many good experiences have been shared and good lessons explained. The third day began with lots of sharing as the students from both the schools showcased their favorite cuisines and dishes that they like to eat the most. The students of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School showed the ready to eat, mouthwatering recipes live on the screen! They then demonstrated their music and dance skills by performing live during the programme. All the pupils were amazed to see the dances and the instrumental music played on the piano. The Italian students also presented songs, dance, and also played musical instruments with great zeal. It was an amazing experience to witness such an interactive session! The highlight of the event was Italian students and teachers sharing Hindi words like “ Dhanyawad”, “Namaste” throughout the session and their Indian counterparts also shared Italian words such as “Grazie”, “Ti Amo”, “Benissimo” to express their affection and appreciate their presentations.

Each and every participant was fully involved among themselves. Everyone was super excited when the online quiz took place. They were actively answering to the questions put up by the teacher. The quiz had many interesting rounds which added an element of fun and learning at the same time. The students from both the schools mingled so well that Mr. Andrea proposed to have more Virtual Exchange Programmes in the future and we will try to ensure that this happens. He also appreciated all the presentations given by the students and praised the efforts of the teachers who were behind the smooth execution of the event.

Ms. Manju Rana, the Principal cum Director of the school especially acknowledged the hard work of Ms. Heena Sharma (ISA Coordinator), and her team members, Ms. Deepti Mayal, Ms. Latika Singh, and Ms. Kavita Singh respectively. She appreciated their efforts in organizing this event and ensuring it ran so smoothly. She congratulated all the students for their active participation and their parents for being so supportive and helpful.
