“Sports do not build character. They reveal it.”
Sports paired with education gives one an edge to succeed in life. The school since its very establishment has promoted sports and extra-curricular activities fostering the educational benefits of sports among the students.
BasketBall
Being one of the most popular sports on campus, basketball is played by most of the students. To cater to the needs of the basketball lovers the school has 2 standard size 28x 15 mtr. basketball courts with synthetic turfs and a capacity of 40 students.

Volley Ball
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School trains students for volleyball on a technically approved outdoor Volleyball court with capacity of 40 students at a time and a well trained coach.

Badminton
Badminton is a swift game to play, and good footwork is amongst those reasons that make this game look graceful. Thus, our mentors guide and help the students in mastering the basic art of proper footwork. Along with footwork, students are also introduced with different types of service marks, badminton shots, clears, smashes, all tricks to hit the shuttlecock in the right way, and other essential techniques that are needed to win the game. At Jaipuria, students are trained and groomed for excellence in 4 badminton courts where we engage 80 students at a time.

FootBall
The school encompasses one outdoor football ground that is well equipped. Also it has capacity of 80 students at a time. Our football teams help our students to develop personal skills such as perseverance, self-discipline, confidence, team-work and cooperation.

Table Tennis
Table tennis is a sport one can enjoy irrespective of age or physical attributes. Whether you are young or old, able-bodied or disabled, you can enjoy playing table tennis at some level. Our Table Tennis PU synthetic anti-skid flooring with 5 tables makes the students pro in this area.

Karate & Taekwondo
The students find Taekwondo to be tremendously rewarding. While self-defense techniques are often the first thought in choosing Taekwondo as a martial art, most students quickly discover the healthy fitness, positive attitudes and mental sharpness that come from physical training. Both adults and children benefit by controlling weight, increasing strength, endurance and flexibility while gaining confidence from achieving greater respect for themselves and others.
The flat, non¬slip arena lined with mats provides a safe practice of taekwondo & karate. Students’ safety is ensured with the availability of safety accessories like chest guard, head guard, gloves etc.

Chess
Chess is a reflection of a creative mind; it is more than a game of conquest, conflict and competitive skill. We have a chess room with 30 chessboards having a capacity of 60 students playing altogether. Learning and developing skills in Chess offers our pupils multiple mental and intellectual benefits. Chess requires mental agility and the ability to think strategically, anticipate your opponent’s moves, and work out how to solve each set of problems as they arise. Playing chess regularly helps to develop critical thinking processes and inherent mental skills that are useful in all areas of life, and allows children to be creative and imaginative while finding a balance between emotional and rational thought. For these reasons, at Jaipuria portals chess forms an important part of our main school curriculum.

Aerobics
We also have an ‘Aerobic room’ facilitated with steppers, balls and many more equipment. Formal aerobics classes at Jaipuria are divided into different levels of intensity and complexity. Our classes take care of five main components of aerobics: warm-up (5–10 minutes), cardio vascular conditioning (25–30 minutes), muscular strength and conditioning (10–15 minutes), cool-down (5–8 minutes) and stretching and flexibility (5–8 minutes). We allow the participants to select their level of participation according to their fitness level.

Yoga
There is no right answer to how to get started with yoga in the classroom. But the main idea is to just get started. What is more important is that you are planting seeds in your children to create a healthy practice for life. At Jaipuria, Yoga is an integral part of the curriculum. We have a spacious Yoga room with a capacity of 50 students with specific yoga mats.
Childhood is the time period of students when they grapple with multiple tasks. They need to perfectly accomplish their school tasks, prepare for variety of exams, score excellent marks and at the same time work on their personality too. In this regard yoga enhances the concentration of the students and improves their efficiency. Yoga has multiple benefits. It not just works wonderfully on our physical health but also takes care of our mental health. It has proved to be advantageous in reducing mental health disorders among the students.
Our Yoga sessions offer the following to our students:
- Freedom to adapt or change the yoga poses to suit their needs.
- Focus on providing fun with movement, not on practicing perfectly aligned poses.
- Engage the children and allow them to follow their passions and interests.
- Create authentic, meaningful experiences.
- Cater to their energy levels and different learning styles.
- Give a vent to their creativity and let them enjoy.
- Ensures their safety.

Skating
Taking up an active hobby such as skating can help a child to keep fit and healthy. For instance, Roller skating works almost on every major muscle group in the body. It helps the students to stay in shape and live a healthy lifestyle. In fact, it is the best form of exercise for them. Trained professionals provide Skating lessons to children, and these practice sessions are held at the school’s skating rink.
