The fourth edition of, RAZZMATAZZ, the Annual Inter School Festival of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow saw a galaxy of talented students come together from twenty-five schools across the country. The theme chosen this year was ‘Emerging Technologies ‘, which saw a participation of almost 750 students in both the onsite and online events. A total of twenty-eight competitions were held at various venues over a period of two days. The entire campus was made vibrant with red, white and black theme colours of the Fest. The highlight being the welcome Robot “Robo Razz” designed by the students of the host school.
The inauguration ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp followed by ‘Shiva Stuti ‘, a prayer dance performance given by the students of the school.The Chief Guest for the inaugural day was Dr.Meera Dixit, a renowned Kathak dancer and lecturer at Bhatkhande Music University, Lucknow.
The events conducted on Day 1 included technology-based events aptly titled –Razzometry,Razzlab Juniors, Formula razz, Trash Art, Techno Verse, Electrivire, Razzdoodle, Razzmat-Ad, Emojination and Quiz Whiz. These events saw the participation of students from pre-primary to grade XII with great enthusiasm and fervour. A plethora of judges from various creative and technical fields came to judge the events. They were greatly impressed by the creativity and presence of mind of even the youngest of participants. Their confidence and eloquence stole everyone’s heart. Students and accompanying teachers from the visiting schools seemed greatly enamoured by the novelty and variety of the events.
Day 2 began with a prayer song ‘God is Good’ followed by ‘Ram Stuti’ presented by the school choir. There was a heightened enthusiasm amongst the students as day 2 was lined up with events like – KavyaRaz, Razzweb,Razz Cycle, Techno frenzy, Dance-o-graphics, TechTalk, Razz-o-Raga, Zoomin Lens and RazzKlick. The basket ball courts echoed with excitement as the students cheered their bots as they competed with other bots over a mini obstacle course in the event-Techno frenzy.
Simultaneously, at other venues the students enjoyed the technical grooves at Dance -O-Graphics. Where the students performed amazing robotic stunts on the stage. Creative masterpieces were made in the installation art using e -waste. Poetic notes on technology were heard in the ‘Kavya -Razz, the Hindi elocution competition. Melodious Hindi ragas were sung in Razz -O-Raga,which enthralled the audience.
The fest came to a befitting end with the song ‘We are all in this together’ in the closing ceremony. This was followed by an energetic dance by the students. The chief guests for the occasion were RJ Saransh and RJ Shweta from 93.5 FM who amused the audience with their humorous interaction with the audience. This was followed by the prize distribution. The event concluded with the Vote of Thanks given by the Principal, Ms Poonam Kochitty, who appreciated the effort of all the teachers, students, staffand participant schools who contributed to the super success of the fourth edition of RAZZMATAZZ.
As they say,‘No Goodbyes are Final’, hence the event closed with a promise of another scintillating edition of RAZMATAZZ in the year 2020.
The MUN club of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School has attained yet another laurel with a haul of two High Commendations and three Special Mentions. Thirteen students of the school attended their fourth MUN at DPS, Gomti Nagar Extn. on the 12th and 13thOctober, 2019.
MUN encourages students to participate in events that are based on political debate and discussion as they broaden the horizon of our students and empower them to become effective change agents and leaders of the future.
A total of 13 students represented our school in the various committees. The students experienced exhilarating sessions of debate and discussion on burning topics like ‘The Bill on the reorganization of the state of Kashmir’ in the joint session of the Indian Parliament. The historical session of the Indian Parliament was based on the Emergency situation of the seventies.

‘YOUNG TARANG’ – Annual Inter School Competition was held on 11th October ,2019, hosted by Delhi Public School, Indira Nagar for the young minds. It was a day where we saw creativity exploding and a wonderful opportunity to think out of the box. The competition not only served its sole purpose but also gave the teams a platform to display their talent and learn more by interacting with others. Seth Anandram Jaipuria School participated in four events namely -Incognito, Rendition, Clay Art and Fun with shapes. Our students Reyansh and Arya Pandey of Class K.G emerged Winners (First Position) in the event Clay Art. It was a great learning experience for all.
Smart Circuits Innovation Private Limited organized IESA-2019 International Education Symposium & Awards-2019 at Hotel Park Plaza- Zirakpur. The event marked the presence of experts from education sector.Educators from over 150 institutions from all over India and abroad participated in the event.
Mr.Pankaj Rathore (Headmaster) of our School has been conferred with “Outstanding Leadership Award-2019”. He was fortunate to receive this award by Padamshri Dr. V Adhimurty from ( Indian Space Research Organisation ) & Mr. Troy D Cline ,Director STEM Innovation ‘ Goddard Space flight Centre,USA. He was also appreciated as a ‘Key note Speaker’ in the panel discussion on the topic-‘Parents as stakeholders in the new draft of NEP- National Education Policy.’ The points raised by him were applauded by the other panel members and it was stated that the Government must ponder & work around them.
Delhi Public School, Eldeco hosted the Second Edition of De-CREW IT Fest-2019 on 5th October ’19. The event was an attempt to create awareness about the constant advancement in the arena of ‘Information Technology’ and to envision ‘India Tomorrow’, dreamt by Honorable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi Ji.
Around 15 schools from all over Lucknow participated in the fest. Out of all the events conducted during the fest, Krishna Tulsyan and Harshit Verma of Seth Anandram jaipuria stood first in Dizzy Wizzy which was a quiz competition and Anurag Pathak and Prakhar Srivastava stood third in Robo Race among all the schools.
De-CREW IT FEST provided a great platform to the students to learn about the ongoing changes in ‘Information Technology‘. The team was prepared by the IT Faculty Mr. Vivek Singh & Sarman Singh.
Seth Anandram Jaipuria School Lucknow boy wins bronze at the CBSE Taekwondo clusters

Wearing a black belt doesn’t mean you’re invincible; it means you never gave up, worked past the pain, overcame the disappointments, didn’t cave into your doubts, faced your fears, and learned enough to realize how little you actually know.
Sharda Global School, Bukru, Kanke, Ranchi hosted the CBSE East Zonal Taekwondo Championship for the year 2019-20 in which 11 children of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow participated in the categories of under-14 and under-17. The event was held from October 1, 2019 to October 3,2019.
Imran Khan under-14, below-61 kg added laurels to Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Lucknow by bagging a Bronze medal in his third bout.
Dussehra, the victory of good over evil, was celebrated with a lot of zeal and fervour. The program began with a prayer and small introduction to Dussehra. This was followed by the “Ramleela” performed by the students of class 1 and 2. Keeping the festive spirit alive, the students of kindergarten recited a poem “Ektha raja Ram Awadh mein”. A Garba dance performance added to the festive mood.The Head mistress addressed the gathering and told students the real reason why the festival is celebrated. She advised them to overcome one negative quality , since the ten heads of Ravana signify ten negative traits in humans.
Later to mark Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana and to reinforce the message that good always triumphs over evil, the effigy of Ravana was burnt amidst cheers and a resounding applause Both the r Head master and Head mistress blessed the students and participants, at the same time inspiring them to follow the path of truth.
Rendezvous-2019, The 1st Town Hall Meeting
21st September’2019 was a Red-Letter Day for the entire Jaipuria fraternity of Lucknow and Kanpur as it marked the celebration of Rendezvous-2019, The 1st Town Hall Meeting. This momentous day began with the unveiling of the mascot ‘Spark”. Mr.Anubhav Singh, the music teacher at SAJS Lucknow and the creator of Spark outlined the idea behind designing the mascot and thanked Ms.Shikha Banerjee, Principal SAJS Kanpur for aptly naming it Spark. Rendezvous began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a short introduction to the programme by the Vice President HR of the Jaipuria Group of Educational Institutions Ms.Anjali Khanna. She spoke about the intention behind the Town Hall Meeting and said that on one hand it is a platform for the employees to interact with the management and on the other it gives an insight to the employees about the organization they are working in. A short film of Rendezvous-2019, The first Townhall Meeting in Ghaziabad was shown by her.
Mr. Vinod Malhotra, the Advisor of the group in his brief address said that teachers shape the children to be future ready, therefore it is important that they should not teach, rather they must ensure that learning is happening. He outlined the importance of smile and said that when the teachers enter the class with a smile a lot of positive energy follows. He stated that the founders of the Jaipuria Group wanted to empower the new generation and therefore they stepped into the educational arena. He emphasized that teachers should move from memorization to conceptualization. According to him the teachers should just be ‘sakshi’ and give the students the spark to move ahead.
The Director Mr.Harish Sanduja emphasized that the teachers must learn the productive use IT. He said that technology is an important tool to bring about transparency in the system. He however stated that Google will never be able to replace teachers in the classrooms. He highlighted the importance of a good parent and alumni connect in empowering an organization and reiterated the fact that teachers must work towards making the students, future sensitive global citizens.
The Director’s address was followed by the much awaited award ceremony. Ms.Poonam Kochitty, Principal SAJS Lucknow announced the long service awards that were given to three teachers from SAJS Kanpur. It was a proud moment when Mr.Anubhav Singh and Ms.Reetu Pandey from SAJS Lucknow received the Special Achievement Award. They got a citation and a cash prize of five thousand rupees.
The Chairman, Mr Shishir Jaipuria rightly pin-pointed the rapid changes happening due to the technological boom in all the sectors. He said that a plethora of new jobs will emerge in the future and apart from the core skills, social-emotional skills will play a huge role in defining an individual. He spoke about his grandfather and said that he was a visionary who realized the need to prepare managers and entrepreneurs. He stated that, the need of the hour is to move faster than technology and to reform and perform. In his address, the Chairman clearly outlined the importance of parent trust and connect and said that their aspirations must be understood and looked into. He shared that true leaders are those who create more leaders and spoke about three P’s, purpose, passion and personalization in a profession.
He said that one must be determined and data driven with focus on structuring the ecosystem and should move with agility, carefully incorporating design thinking. He thanked all the teachers for relentlessly and whole-heartedly working for the group.
The address of the dignitaries was followed by a question-answer session of the employees with the management. The Chairman Mr.Shishir Jaipuria answered the concerns raised by the employees with patience and diligence.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.Ashley Fernandez, Vice Principal SAJS Kanpur and Mr.Pankaj Rathore, Headmaster SAJS Lucknow. Ms.Divya and Ms.Shilpi Kumar were the main comperes for the day and they ensured the audience a smooth running stage.
The first Town Hall Meeting came to an end by a scrumptious and appetizing lunch that was served to all.
