INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

-“Think about our past and resolve to build a better future for our country!”

With the school all bedecked in tricolors, and the little ones attired in colorful clothes, there was excitement and patriotic fervor in the air. On this promising note, the students of Pre-Primary and grade 1 gathered in the Assembly Hall to celebrate the 73rd Independence Day.

Grade Nursery recited a poem ‘Desh Mere Desh’ with great enthusiasm. Grade KG – recited a rhyme on the importance of 15th August. Several children dressed up as freedom fighters, Rani Laxmi Bai, Sarojini Naidu and many more, and spoke a few lines depicting their love for their country.  Our Pre-Nursery toddlers dressed up as citizens of the different states of India to depict the diverse culture of our great Nation. The brief program concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
