Kindergarten Graduation Day… Celebrating an important milestone
The Graduation Day ceremony is a happy and momentous occasion for the little ones as they gather to celebrate the culmination of their preschool years. 18th March’19 marked the beginning of a more formal system of schooling in the life of the little Jaipurians, as the school celebrated the 3rd Graduation Day of their kindergarten students.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Principal Ms.Poonam Kochitty and the Headmistress Ms. Monika Taneja. The children thanked the almighty with the song, “My God is so big” and a beautiful “Saraswati Vandana.”
The group song “Papa Mere Papa’ left the audience teary- eyed. The children spoke about Ganit Rack, Jodo Cubes, Rangometry Kit and the Aakar Parivaar tools used by them in the classroom as a learning aid. The children also demonstrated certain activities like Gardening and spoke about the importance of healthy food.
Mihika Tiwari’s role as Malala Yousufzai , the youngest Nobel laureate was applauded by everyone. She narrated an excerpt from the powerful speech that Malala delivered in the United Nations.
Through their foot tapping dance on “I love to read” the children showcased their love for reading that they have imbibed in school. Finally, all the children wore the graduation day caps and sang a graduation group song, “Thank you, thank you thank you everyone.”
The performers put up a great show of confidence and charisma. Their energy and vibrancy enthralled all the spectators as they had joined in to ‘celebrate learning’. The Principal Ms. Poonam Kochitty congratulated these little graduates who were ready to move on to explore and accomplish yet another milestones in their lives.
