Dependence Of Humans On Machines

by

Technology brought for us machines, computers, cars and many more things. It made the world smaller by providing good communication tools, made it possible to explore the solar system and the universe and proved that the technology is totally significant for human advancement. But we are a little too much dependent on technology. From simple tasks like calculating numbers and complicated tasks like planting seeds, we depend on technology. People hardly walk or ride a cycle. Everyone wants to drive even for the shortest of distance. Most students now don’t know how to look for words in a dictionary because GOOGLE has it all. Technology has made people lazier and passive in life. The world is evolving at a fast pace to incorporate technology into every facet of our live. Because of all this, we are losing the ability to take care of ourselves in an organic or natural way.

Geniuses are made, not born!!!

by

Geniuses are made, not born! Even the biggest dunce can learn from the minds of Albert Einstein and Charles Darwin. Despite the widely heard belief that geniuses are all child prodigies, a race apart from ordinary mortals, physiology claims that their success lies more in hard work than any innate intellectual gifts.

Religion In Politics

by

Everybody in the world is in quest of infinite power and in India politics is a platform through which one can succeed in partly achieving one’s goal. Religion is a belief and worship of God or Gods. But we have misconstrued religion, as a result of which, the main purpose of religion has been snubbed and has gone awry. People are blindly following religion like dumb driven cattle, overlooking the ideals of their true religion.

Emphatically, there is nothing wrong if the politicians are using, the religion obsessed people, as quarries to trap in the snare by guiling them with the bait of religion. Religion is the only way to wheedle the illiterate and conservative masses who would hardly understand the promise of installing a nuclear power plant or a solar panel. It is obviously more convenient to sidle a theological remark into their minds than elucidating on the logics of progress or development.

It is the people who have triggered this religion centric rivalry and the politicians are simply making the best use of it .It is the blind faith of the people that has given rise to the temerity in the ministers to cajole them into choosing them , in the name of religion.

The Existence Of Soul

by

POINT

The reality of the soul is among the most important question of life. Since time and ages different religions talk about its existence, but how do we know if souls really exist? IS the concept of soul really valid or is it just a mythical superstition. Well, a string of new scientific experiments help answer this ancient spiritual question. Yes, souls do exists. Yet, should cannot be defined as a spiritual thing haunting you by nights but is rather in the form of quantum energy; quantum theory of consciousness asserting that the souls are contained inside structure called microtubules lose their quantum state but the information within them is not destroyed. Or in a layman’s language, the soul does not die but returns to universe in the form of quantum energy as it had existed in our body back to the nature, heart stops beating, the blood stops flowing and the microtubules lose their quantum state. The quantum information within the microtubules is not destroyed, it just dissipates to the universe at large. In the event of a person’s death, it is possible that this quantum energy may exists outside the body indefinitely –as a soul. To conclude, my point is souls are not haunting spirits but the truth of our life and can be explained scientifically.

“It was, it is and will always be a Man’s World”

by

POINT

Whether we like it or not and no matter what facts and figures quote, the fact remains that “It is and will always be a man’s world”. There may be an occasional variant and exploits by exceptionally gifted women, but the crux of the matter always remains as above.

Ever since the dawn of civilization, man has showed his dominance over woman. This was the reason for such inhibitive customs, like the purdahsystem, dowry and the sati pratha. A woman plays a crucial role in a man’s life as a mother, wife and daughter but when it comes to equal rights she virtually hasnone. Thus in all crucial matters pertaining to property or ascendance to the throne, it is the son who inherits it.

Even if we concede, that man may have usurped the rights of a woman by sheer force, we still cannot deny the biological truth. The very semblance of a man brings forth a picture of brawn, rough and muscular personality, whereas a woman is the emblem of beauty, elegance and fragility. Thus, biologically also, they differfrom each other .This is the reason why they complement each other and we graciously refer to them as better halves.

COUNTERPOINT

I would like to tweak the statement a bit that “It was but now, it is not and will never be a man’s world.” We humans are the epitome of God’s creation. It astounds me even to speak on the topic, because it is obvious that the planet, the world we belong to has women too. Needless to say that when a girl is born, the society takes her as a burden but that little girl with dreams becomes a woman with vision , the vision that creates a revolution across the world. Men appear to wield the power, but it is women who rule and dominate in their sweet manner. Women are tactful, patient, andlove to pamper their ego. My opponent mentioned a few areas where men dominate but I feel that women of today have topped all male domains.

If we glance through the annals of history, women have planted their feet in every sphere be it games, politics, defense, world of scientists, academics and so on.

Last but not the least, in the future there will be no female leaders, there will be just leaders. And one thing that women have yet to learn is-

“Nobody gives you power, You just take it and world is yours”.

Article on life….

by

You were given life because you were strong enough to live it’. Though it is full of ups and downs it has many facets of blessings and successes.

To some people, life is hard, cruel and merciless. These set of people see life as punishment throughout their lives. They therefore resigned themselves to fate, believing all is finished. To them, nothing that they do can ever be good.

POINT

“Oh God! Save me, I have a mathematics examination tomorrow.”

Well, does the word ‘God’ not bring religion here? If not, then why do we not say ‘OhAnushka! Save me I have a mathematics examination tomorrow.’ Religion is just not a thing to be followed but it is a requirement, a necessity.
